- At this point in time, no. However, in a laboratory test some years ago, scientists claimed to have moved one particle from one location to another.
- Read the book Timeline by Micheal Crighton, it is a good interpretation of what would have to happen. Basically the body would have to be broken down to the molecular level and that data would be transmitted, like a fax, and it would have to be put back in the same order. In short, its possible, not really plausible.
- Here's some questions to answer your interesting question: If you broke someone down into energy, saved a blueprint of their makeup, and recreated them in a distant location using the same energy, would it be the original person, or just a copy? If it is a copy, could you make thousands of copies of them provided you had enough energy? It'd kind of be like a fax machine/shredder...
- Not really... a particle might be able to be transported.. but listen.. to transport a human you would need to transport all its particles .. build them in order.. so it would be lke creating and destroying a clone would you want to do that? haha not me! but when they do it safely, i might give it a shot.. I hate airplanes
