4. The Romans had a higher level of technology than Europeans did in the dark ages. I think it was London in the 1900's that first city to have a population of 1,000,000 since the fall of Rome. So the idea of similar rises and falls in the level of human understanding and technology are not implausible.

9. Despite what you see in the picture, none of those hieroglyphics were carved to look that way. The wall in that picture was carved, plastered over, carved again, plastered over again, etc. There were several different hieroglyphs carved in the exact same position at different periods in history. What you see in that picture is the result of some of the plaster falling out of the original hieroglyphs. You may see UFOs, submarines, and helicopters, but none of the original Egyptian carvers did.

11. I've seen it and I think that it's interesting. Like the previous posters, it is easy to laugh off and make small of something that we don't understand. It's arrogant to believe that we know everything that ever was and that God is too small to have done anything before our "generation". Who knows? I think it's fascinating to think about.
