Question on Transport Agency Frauds ?

Hi, recently I placed an order with a auto transport agency called National Auto Transporter (NAT) and was assured that my car would be shipped by last sunday (06/22/2008) which was not done. Infact the car was not picked up yet . They did not charge my credit card though, which is good. However, they were not responding me when I tried to reach them unless I threatened that I would cancel my order. I went through many reviews and found that this company is a fraud one and had many complaints against them. Now I have determined to cancel my order and on a safer side I cancelled my credit card even. But as per the agreement with this transport company, If I have to cancel my order for any reasons, I need to forfeit the advanced amount USD 230 (Yet to be charged to my credit card). However, they can't charge my card as it is no longer valid. But I wanted to check, if the transport company can go against me legally. Some one suggest me the legal issues associated with this case. Thanks
