How long does amazon free shipping take?

I have bought an item from amazon and i chose free super saver shipping. Amazon estimated ship date is april-may.. if you have ordered from amazon with free shipping, how long is the wait?

2. i always pick the two day shipping and always get it the next day. they are good about quick shipping.

4. Amazon estimated ship date is april-may..?? Good grief. That's too long! Go someplace else, you'll have the item to you in no time, matter of fact, you may be able to ship it to you two or three times, before Amazon can get it out to you once.
5. It varies on what you order and how busy it is. I've used it in the past and gotten things quickly. Once I had two packages arrive the same day and they were ordered 2 weeks apart. If you're not in a rush it's great, but if you have a deadline, pay for shipping. The cheapest option is usually pretty quick.
6. Everything I order from Amazon.com has been shipped free super-saver. They say it takes 5-9 business days, but I get my stuff in 3-4 days average (unless I pre-order something or one of the items I ordered is being sold and shipped by a retailer other than Amazon -- you have to check your order). Personally, I think it's worth it because I'd pay the extra to get it next day if I needed my stuff that badly...
