Who is familiar with China shipping and EMS?

I have a package that is being delivered from China EMS. It has been over two weeks and it has not been delivered. When I go to track the package it says that the package was dispached from the sorting center in Dilian on 8/13/08. It is now 8/28. Should I be concerned and is there any wah for me to check on the status of the package other that the tracking option? Thanks, Scott

1. I dont think there is any other way than the tracking number. I am in the same boat. I have a package shipped today from China as well. Hope it reaches. EMS looks like crap.Basically im very skeptical of buying anything from China henceforth.

Scott dont worry about it its because chinese customs was strict becuase of the olympics no worry's give it a few more days if it says dispatch from dilian its leaveing there to the us also you have to remember among your package thier are 1000's ahead of yours so it should be fine i was in the same boat but i recieved all recently over 50 packages so it should be alright :)
