How to identify the person detail and location from which email sent?

I have received an email from unknown user. How to identify the location from where the email sent? Is it possible to get the sender complete details.

2. you realy can't as the ip adress is usualy a secondonary adress, the real one is allways hidden unless you got government authority to find it!
3. Hi there, It is not so easy to find the e-mailer background, though you can find if you are sure what you are doing. The only one process that allows public to view web & e-mail backhand is through "WHOIS". Search for a best whois site and then find it.
