How to travel from Melbourne to Great Ocean Road by public transport?
I plan to travel from Melbourne to Great Ocean Road and Philip Island by public transport, any suggestion where to stop and place of interest? How much it will cost if I go by tour group?

- The Otway buses run down the GOR. Catch the train to Geelong which connects to the bus. I would stop and stay in Lorne, Apollo Bay and Port Campbell. Most tours try and do this in one day which would involve at least 8 hours driving. If you have 3-4 days I would do it the first way. To get to Phillip Island, catch the train to Dandenong station which connects with the bus to Cowes. If you want to do a day tour it would cost about $130 with about 3-4 hours of travelling time.
