About EMS shipping from China...Help?

I was sent a tracking number from EMS (In China) recently. And To my knowledge EMS, usually takes about 3-5 days to arrive However it has now been 6 days, and the last update was "Left origin country" Does anyone know how long EMS shipping from China takes? 1. Same thing, should be there very soon once it enters the us.
2. there have been lots of questions like this in the past, it is always the same story, once it leaves China it seems like the tracking does not get updated, but, if it has been 6 days it is most likely almost to your home
