ICT systems within pollution,energy useage,waste reduction and public transport?

Hi for my AS level for one piece of coursework/exam, we've been asked to research pretty pathetic things such as what i have listed in the topic question, i've been trying to find out about ICT used within the following: Pollution Waste Reduction refuse collection Conservation Public transport Energy useage If anyone knows what each of the areas in list are affected by ict systems. please let me know it will be most appreciated. Thank you :) I assure you that any information that’s provided will not be copied as that plagiarism instead it will be read a few times then I will write my own interpretation of the information. Energy use - Intellegent house (heating systems, windows etc) Pollution - Co2 Calculator (found on google by typing Co2 Calculator) Public Transport - Automatic monorail Refuse collection - Smart tags (on bins) i hope this has helped, if you have found anything for waste reduction let me know (:
