yet we see many times locally, as well as nationally public transport vehicles not in use but, with engines running e.g. buses , Taxis.This not only pollutes upper levels but, also pollutes pedestrians in the vincinty.local council authorities need to be more vigilant and stop this indiffrence to public safety

Several areas have laws against that, but most don't. I know Denver has one of those laws.
vicinity.local council authorities need to start the working on law s lets us as the local community dwellers do the things to help the envisioned be healthy and safe pollution has been a dangerous heath hazard Even been the reason suffering and death since the industrial revolution they make laws for spin ting on the street riddling on the wrong side of the street wasting water why not laws make laws for wasting and polluting our air pollution tickets starting with our local council authorities we need to push them to create laws and have them folks work on this issue we vote for and put them in the position to voice our needs and make rules change and make laws for the safety health and benefit of all living beings air is what we must have no air no us war are we waiting for the time is now

All I can tell you is, when I started driving here in So. California, gas was 32. cents a gallon, and the air was so dirty, we didn't even know there were mountains nearby except in two or three winter months. Taking a deep breath was painful. SERIOUSLY! I'm amazed I am still alive to tell you about it. Today, despite the fact there are 4 or 5 times as many cars running around, the air is MUCH cleaner, it doesn't hurt to breathe, and we can see the mountains year 'round, so some SERIOUS progress has been made, and continues to be made. Do you own a Prius? If not, buy one and pipe down.
