How can I track my lost cell phone?

I lost my cell phone last night and have no idea where to look (besides the obvious locations). Anyone know how to track it or locate it. I've tried calling it. Stil can't locate it..... And it has GPS on it too.

2. There is no way to track your phone once the SIM card/UIM is switched. Physically checking every phone by its IMEI number will be the only resort then. If your phone does have facilities like Phone Tracker etc., it will send a message to numbers chosen by you (if you had set it earlier) if the SIM/UIM is changed. There are other ways, but those cannot be easily executed by an individual, the involvement of network operator is involved in those.
