Will the US every have a dictator.?

These executive orders have been laying dormant waiting for one Swift Stroke of the President Pin to make them law. EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990 allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports. EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995 allows the government to seize and control the communication media. EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997 allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals. EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food resources and farms. EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000 allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision. EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003 allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft. This is just a sample of the many Executive Orders that can be signed into Law that can exercise power and control of the people.

1. And they can easily be nullified by congress if they so choose. This is a government of checks and balances. If there were no way to counter executive power, we would have for all practical purposes, an autocracy.

6. I think these orders exist as a safe guard if war ever came to Americas shores, they are very much wartime like laws. These orders have resemblance to those in forced by the british government during world war two. Yes, you just got rid of one.
7. Those executive orders are only valid in case of a giant catastrophe or attack that disrupts government control. And they only are valid during the disruption. It's important for government to have a plan in case of emergencies. That's all these are. If you believe these are pathways to tyranny, you're overly paranoid. This is the same belief set that said Bush was going to prevent this election and that he'll declare an emergency to declare martial law and stay in power.
