Does anyone have Honolulu transportation and entertainment tips during the Probowl for group of 6 ages 30-45?
We are a fun, out-going group that enjoys all types of food, comedy, performances and dancing to R&B and Hip Hop Music. Staying at the Wakiki Wave on Kuhio Avenue. Would appreciate any transportation tips (like should we get a car) and "must do's" for our first trip to Honolulu.

- The easiest way to go would to take "The Bus". It is just called the bus in Oahu. Oahu is the one Hawaiian island that you do not need to rent a car. The bus goes almost everywhere. Must do's are going to diamond head, the beach of course, Hanama bay for snorkeling, and if you have time, Pearl Harbor. Their are night clubs everywhere, so no problem there.
- What are your interests? Most people want to go to Pearl Harbor, but GO EARLY. In the same area is the Bowfin Submarine/Museum, the USS Missouri (like Arizona), and the Pacific Aviation Museum (a must-see). that's a whole day. Most clubs and comedy etc. are in Waikiki, so you shouldn't need a car except when you are getting out of Waikiki. Do NOT drive to the Stadium--it will be a madhouse. There will be shuttles from many locations--drop-off and return. If you want outdoors, there is Diamond Head, lots of hiking trails (but it's been rainy). If you haven't been to Hawaii, a trip around the island is fun, and the waves might be high--but there will be traffic. Waikiki will have the best weather so you can learn to surf or parasail from the beach vendors.
