How long does it take for EMS Shipping from China to reach California?

I placed an order online that claimed to take 5 days from china via EMS. How long will it take to reach California? What shipping company willo bring it to my home(i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, USPS?

1. It usually takes about a week. I'm not sure what carrier EMS uses to deliver the US, but I know China Post delivers via USPS. I suspect EMS may do the same.
