Will my Amazon order get here before Christmas?
I ordered it yesterday, December 17. Everything is in stock and from Amazon.com shipped directly from Amazon (no external partner stores involved). All over the Amazon website, it said yesterday, December 17 was the last day to get free super-saver shipping arrivals by December 24. So I placed the order at 11 p.m. eastern. Now it's saying my order will arrive between Jan. 5-9. WTF is up with that??? If my stuff doesn't get here on time I'm going to look like the Grinch.

- Call them and talk to a rep. Tell them what you just told us. I'm sure there must be some sort of mistake. Don't worry.

- I think the 'before December 24th' expires at a certain time of day. They need time to ship your order and shipping goes out and that's earlier than 11pm. I think it's usually by noon on the day that they say (so the 17th). It usually says 'in the next blank hours and minutes', so I guess you just didn't do it in time. You can change your shipping type so it gets to your house earlier; one and two day will still get it there well in advance.
- If you are looking for ideas for gifts this Christmas I thought I would help out and tell you about this site http://www.the-freebie-zone.com . They have a lot of sites listed where you can get free stuff online, even gift cards to stores and stuff. If you are a little short on money or just want free stuff (hehe) then check them out. I got a lot of stuff that I was looking to get my kids and it didn't cost me a dime. Hope this can help out.. http://www.the-freebie-zone.com Happy Holidays!
- On the Amazon website it does state "Order by 11:59 p.m. Pacific standard time (unless otherwise noted) on the date listed for delivery by December 24. note: Amazon HQ is in Seattle Wa. Hence the PST rather than EST time. This works to your advantage since it was only 8 PM PST. The website should have been set up to automatically pulled the offer when it was no longer valid. You did place your order well before 11:59 PM PST, so it should be there before Christmas. If there is one item that will take longer they may hold your entire order to wait for it. Call them and demand that they honor their advertisement and immediate ship your order via overnight or priority shipping. Request partial shipment if there is an item that may cause it to be delayed.
