why does my 97 t4 transporter only start when i jump on the seat?

1. There is a switch under the seat that will not close unless you are properly sitting on it. It's there for safety reasons.
2. It most likely has a kill switch mounted under the seat to prevent syarting unless someone is sitting on it. sometimes the mounting bracket gets bent or distorted. if so bend it up so that the switch is closer to the seat.
