what are the laws canada has about smoking in public places?

are you allowed to smoke in resturant,bars, cafes, hotels, theatres, bingo halls, church halls, sports centres, shopping centres, public transport, schools, hospitals and all clubs.

  1. Depends on what province you are in. Most places will not allow you to smoke in Restaurants. cafes hotels.. etc.. Even bingo halls have gone smoke free in a lot of provinces.. You have never been able to smoke in a shopping centre, on a bus, or in schools. Hospitals are enforcing a tobacco free policy and there are only certain areas set aside for patients who need to smoke. Other than that, staff and the general public have to go off the property to smoke.
  2. u cannot smoke within 20foot of the door. well thats what the laws are around my side of town
