Would EMS shipping show by their tracking system, when a package is released from Customs?

I purchased about 7 bags from China and notice my package has been as customs for several days now. Just wondering what the tracking system/process was for EMS and when I can expect its delivery. Other thing I wondered about, was if Customs would open up the package. And, if the sender wrapped the item as "gifts," Would Customs open the gift. Anyone know?

1. Yeah, customs opens packages all the time... it stinks, but they have the right... and that the package is coming from china only increases the chances of it being opened.
2. I think you can track it online, however, customs can take a long time to clear parcels, and they can never tell you how long ! But you could still call EMS hotline...I don't how much it costs though
