should i fly or drive to florida? help me make up my mind =)?
me & my boyfriend are going to orlando, florida for vacation celebrating our 4th year anniversary in september. i already know where we are staying & what attractions we would do. now i have to come up with how exactly im getting to florida (by the way i live in new jersey) what would be the best thing money & time wise. i was looking a flight cost and a round trip for 2 would cost $456.00. it would only take a little over 2 hours. or should we rent a car. the cost would be cheaper but we woould have to pay for gas and maybe stop to eat because of the hours we would be traveling. (12 hours maybe?) but then again we would have our own care to drive around while in florida. the hotel that we are staying at is located around international drive and our hotel has shuttles to transport us to the theme parks. so i really cant decided on what to do. fly or drive HELP =(

- "HI''...sometimes a 2 hour flight is really about 5 hours when you consider check-in and the baggage pick-up and then there is the "frenzied" atomosphere at an airport and possible flight delays ! Now driving gives you a chance to laugh and talk and just relax together as sometimes the best part of a trip is "the going there" ! ( and you have a car at destination ) Twelve hours with the right soul mate in a comfortable car can literaly "fly by" ! *lol* Just my old fashioned and learned opinion ! *S* (Michael C...)
- I strongly suggest you take a plane. That's a loooong drive from New Jersey to Florida--more than 12 hours!. By the time you arrive you'll be so tired you won't feel like doing anything. Depending on how many nights you'll be staying in Orlando, you might not even need to rent a car. Just use the shuttles and, if necessary, take a cap. Have fun!
