Are there any other ways to say TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT?

Well, I'm a english learning student. I heard a phase which might be trans what offical in a clip. It's should be TRANSPORTATION DEPT. But I can't hear it clearly. So could u help me?

1. Here in Missouri we call the Transportation Department MODOT, in Kansas it is called KDOT. Department Of Transportation with the states initial proceeding it.
2. The Transportation Department is usually flipped around and referred to as the Dept. Of Transportation. This is just a government way of doing things. It is one of a few government agencies referred to by its letters only. In this case DOT or Dee-Ohh-Tee. Others that come to mind are the FBI, FAA and CIA. You're doing great!
