  1. 1. Master Builders = Nominative, It's a predicate nominative - same as Romans. 3. Roads = Nominative - subject of sentence Romans = Dative - Indirect object - think as '...gave TO the Romans..' 4. Milestones = Nominative - subject of sentence 5. Traveler's - Genitive - possessive - whose progress? 6. Rome - Locative - place where (This one seems advanced compared to the rest. Locative is not all that common and is generally not introduced to a student early. You may be looking for ablative.) ADDED: Just in case: 2. System = Nominative. Predicate nominative. 7. Which = Ablative. Object of preposition that takes ablative. 8. Systems = Accusative. Object of 'see'.
