Is DHL International Shipping a good service?
Hi there, well to make it short. I am thinking about buying a computer from a person in the UK. She said that we can use DHL international shipping were the seller would send the computer via DHL. I would send my payment to DHL after getting a notification from DHL. Has anybody done this? Should i be worry about getting ripped off? Thanks

- Yes it is ok as long as you keep all the receipts.
- i wouldn't go with DHL. but thats just my opinion. plus i think i heard that DHL was going out of business? i dont know. maybe i heard wrong. anyway, i would go with fedex or ups.. they ship fast and they're either free or little money well hope this helps sorry if it doesnt..:]
- Stay AWAY from DHL! They always lose my packages. I'm an eBay seller and ship about 100+ items per week. I have had so many bad experiences with DHL, that I will personally pay more for FedEx or UPS out of my own pocket to avoid having to deal with them.
- Here's a little story from when I worked at Airborne Express (now DHL): We got a call one day from a guy that had found a lot of packages and letters lying beside a country road, he thought there had been an accident or something. Turns out, the guy with that route didn't feel like delivering them to such out of the way places so he chucked them out the window. He didn't get fired. I also had to take them in front of the labor board for trying to gyp me out of my last $1400 paycheck. I don't know how good DHL is compared to that, but I heard some higher ups talking right before the merger and they seemed to think DHL was even more ghetto.
- DHL is perfectly safe. I know a current employee... they recently made cutbacks in their domestic shipping department (within US), but are boosting up their international business. So shipping from UK to US via DHL is just fine.
