What does UPS/Fedex/DHL check for when shipping a package inside the domestically in the US?

Do they xray it? Sniff it? Well i know they weigh it for shipping costs.. but what else?

1. Nothing, unless you go asking a bunch of suspicious questions. If it smells like weed they'll call the authorities.
