Does EMS shipping from Hong Kong include weekends??

I bought a cosplay on ebay from someone in Hong Kong but they took forever to ship it. Its being shipped via EMS (5-7 days) overseas. What I'm wondering is, does EMS shipping include weekends?? Cause they're not business days. I need it by August 21 and she sent it yesterday so I have exactly 7 days to get it, so if it doesn't include weekends then I'm screwed. Thanks!! :)

1. I don't know about shipping from Hong Kong, but I have bought lots of DVDs from HMV Japan. They also use EMS, and my packages have always arrived exactly when they said it would, usually 5 ~ 7 days. However, in Japan they seem to work 6 days a week, which is probably why it gets delivered so quickly to Vancouver, Canada.
