EMS shipping from Hong Kong to USA?

i bought a item from ebay and the seller states 5 days but im not sure, he shipped the item out on the 20th of january? how long to get to the usa? perferbly MD?

1. regular packages takes about a week or less, depending on how far your place is from the big city. the majority of the time wasted is on ground transportation in the US locally
