Location Transport

hi,i'm eja..i would like to ask about which sensor can i use to detect marking line?..?

Me and my group are going to propose auto guided vehicle for our final year project. The vehicle we called "transporter". This transporter will collect and deliver items from one station to another station,so i have decided to use color sensor for detecting the black line (black line will be the guide for vehicle to move forward or reverse)on track from 1 station to another station. I really need your opinion which color sensor is suitable to complete my final year project requirement.Thanks in advance.

1. I would think a magnetic strip would be better and easier to sense.
