Where can I find A VW 'Transporter' van?

1. Try Craigslist, Autotrader or eBay.
2. The old VW buses are getting to be quite collectible, and prices are going through the roof for ones in good condition. The one in your photo appears to be one of the camper van models with a pop-up roof to allow for standing height in the galley area of the van. As far as finding one for your first car, the only suggestion I can make is to check all the usual sources... (eBay, Craig's List, etc) and if you do find one you want to buy, have it inspected by a good mechanic. These older VW vans are approaching 50 years old, and are subject to lots of corrosion of the body and undercarriage.
