Location Transport

I'm ordering a lot of stuff online & I was wondering what's the difference between standard and USPS shipping?

Yeah I'm ordering 9 items (clothes and such) online and i get to have free shipping if everything costs more than 150. So I get free shipping but I get two choices between USPS and Standard shipping. What's the difference? And which one should I use?

  1. Depending on the website you are using, USPS ships to you if it is standard. The US Postal Service ships things either first class mail (standard), priority or next day air. They differ in the time they guarantee for delivery. Usually first class takes about 7-10 days and priority takes 2-4 days. If the "USPS" shipping costs more, it is probably priority or next day air. The standard is regular old snail-mail. UPS and Fed Ex are totally different companies with their own shipping business, if that's what you were asking. You should use the one that's the cheapest that will give you what you want when you need it. If you are ordering something and it is not absolutely necessary to get it within the next few days, I'd say standard. If not, I'd say priority. Keep in mind tomorrow is Thursday and weekends usually don't count (even though they send mail on Saturdays, it's very limited) so it will be 2 extra days longer.
