Can I move the location of my itunes software to an external hard drive without loosing information?
I want to change the location where I have all the music, videos and photos that I've uploaded to my itunes, to a external hard drive, so I can have some free space in my computer. Is it possible? How can I do it? Could I risk loosing all the I've saved?

- Beadav, yes you can. First check this video to know how to move your iTunes library to the external HD and after that just go to your iTunes, click Edit > Preferences > Advanced, in this window there is another window that reads "iTunes Music folder location", it shows the actual iTunes folder in your C drive, erase this one and write the folder location in which you just put everything in your external HD. Here is the video http://cnettv.cnet.com/2001-1_53-50002386.html. The video was made before the arriving of the new iTunes 8, so to consolidate your library (as mentioned in the video) you have to open iTunes > File > Library, Consolidate is one of the options in there. Best Regards!
