What's the cheapest way to transport a car from Miami to NY.?

Hey ya'll I need to transport a car from Miami Florida to Queens New York without driving it. What are the steps and cost to go about it?? Thanks in advance

1. can you get someone else to drive it? Or is that not an option?
2. I can tell you that i bought a used tow dolley and towed a car from Willingston FL. to Connecticutt. Paid $150.00 for a 2003 dolley and still have it around for when one of the family members cars breaks down. To rent one will cost you a fortune and you don't own it. Good Luck.
3. I would try transportation brokers, get as many quotes as you can then compare prices then hedge those prices against each buyer until you get the best deal possible. You also can find a Truck driver, usally an owner operator who might be going in that direction. Double check his I.C.C. authority to make sure he is allowed to transport legally, also if this idea appeals to you do not forget to ask what his insurance (cargo) will and will not cover. There also some van lines like United who haul cars, and several premier transportation companies. Check out the phone book, i assume you are from the big apple area when you say N.Y., there has to be a couple hundred companies to choose from. Just make sure you do your home work, it sucks when you expect one thing then get another. Hope this helps some what.
