What's the best way using public transport to get from Marmaduke Avenue, St. Louis to Wash U?

I need to leave from Marmaduke Avenue and Tamm, St. Louis and get to Wash U. What's the best form of public transport to get me there? (Please give specifics!)

1. You could walk over to Hampton, take the 90 Hampton bus to MetroLink station at Forest Park/Debaliviere, and catch the 1 Wash. U. Gold bus, which will take you to main campus or the med. center (though if you need to go to Barnes, you also can take the MetroLink to CWE station) www.metrostlouis.org gives the bus routes. Actually, you can also take the Shrewsbury-I-44 MetroLink to the Skinker station (across from southeast corner of campus) or the U. City-Big Bend station (across from southwest corner of campus). I forgot about that, as I take the Airport MetroLink. Just make sure you get on the Shrewsbury train from the Forest Park station.
