Why does the Illinois Department of Transportation have its priorities mixed up? ?

They have time to take down the Blagojevich signs on the interstates within hours after of his impeachment, but they don't have time to fill the potholes that have been damaging thousands of cars over the past 6 weeks. Why is our state and federal government so screwed up?

3. Perhaps Blagojevich had a hard time getting the road commission to pay him money for their contract. He's a real piece of work. It probably cost far less to take those signs down than fix the highways.
4. It could be that the power structure wants to obliterate all traces of Blagojevich - so he won't be allowed to expose all the other corrupt politicians.
