Is there a way to track a cell phone's location?

If my cell phone is stolen, or lost, is there a way for me to track where it is? I mean, almost like a GPS salatite location... And is there a free way, or cheap way? Please answer ASAP!!! Please attatch a link if you have one!

1. 1. you need to have a phone with GPS. 2. you will need to install the software on the phone... so if its lost or stolen now forget it. 3. you need internet on the phone Most at&t phones dont have GPS on it.
2. well..ther is a setting on your phone where it can be tracked.. location its called. but...i dont think that would be the way they track phones. When you do lose it and you know its in your room, call it and listen for the ringtone. always keep yor phone on ring except in class.
