I've lost my cell phone, is there any way I can track it's location?

I lost my cell phone yesterday. I've called it many times but no one picks up, so I'm guessing no one has it on them. I had a busy day and I went to over seven places across town and I didn't realize I lost it until I came home. I remember when I first got it, I was fiddling around with it and it had a "Location- On" or "Location 911 Only" setting and I had set it to "Location On." Is there any way I can track it's location??? I've gone back to all the places but haven't found it. I've searched around my house, and my friend's but the ring is on vibrate. Any advice would be appreciated! I want to find it before the battery dies! It's a LG Chocolate and I purchased it less than a month ago

1. I think you can track it through your carriers web site. if you can't findthe link call their tech support number
2. call ur service provider nd tell them u want to track ur phone using GPS. u can only do it if u had location on set to on, on ur cell phone, if u didnt theres no way to track it. hope u find it, i know how it is to lose a cell phone. goodluck : )
