Cost of shipping a car to Europe and back?

Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to ship a car to Europe and back??? Does it have to be completely paid off? I have always wanted to do that; have some fun in EU over the summer :) Thanks

1. Possibly about a grand each way. Then you'll need to get it registered, taxed, plated. With the same money you can possibly rent TWO cars.
