Do you ever think a transporter like in Star Trek will ever be invented?
It would be so nice to visit relatives in the blink of an eye.

- It sure would be useful, thats for sure. We could set them up on the Moon and on Mars and colonize these places for vacation. I wonder if it would take much energy do get one to work, because it sure would save us time and energy.
- remember when captain kirk would pull out a small gadget, flip it open, talk into it and say "beam me up Scotty", that was akin to our cell phones nowadays, so yes i do see it.hopefully we can transport criminals and lawyers off the planet by then.
- My dad said when he was younger, people would watch it and get excited when the sliding doors would slide open, and now they are practically everywhere.
- In NextGen they always talked about the Heisenberg Compensator that was able to make it so that the pieces always came back together correctly... They spoke of some kind of Syndrome you got if your atoms were misplaced... Transporter Psychosis? Something like that. They also spoke of the "early" tech where it wasn't a transportation process... Rather... A copy was made and the Original was killed... Disintegrated in to atoms... There was a great episode of The Outer Limits about that... They discovered a reptile race that had developed the tech but they wouldn't let humans have control over it until they proved that they could "Balance the Equation". I.E. Kill the Original person left behind after the copy had reached it's destination... "Think Like A Dinosour" (2001/2002 Season) http://www.scifi.com/outerlimits/episodes/season7/thinklik.html The morality issues of this tech would be beyond us at the moment... Yes... Even though I am a chick... I am well aware that I am a "FanBoy"! ROFLMAO!
- Maybe in my next life I can come back and invent it! (Ha) Are you sure you are not my daughter? Aside from hair color our avatars look very much alike.!!!
