How to travel from LA - airport to Simi Valley by public transportation ?

Hi, I want to travel from LAX airport to Simi Valley by public transportation. Can you please tell me what is the convenient route ?

1. From the airport, take the FLYAWAY UNION STATION shuttle to the train station. From there, take Amtrak (Pacific Surfliner) or Metrolink (Ventura County line) and get off at Simi Valley station.
2. yes you can take the flyaway to union station but use metrolink instead (its cheaper and has more runs to Simi valley now that would only work on the Weekday you dont say if you are coming in on Weekend
3. From LAX, take the Flyaway bus to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. From Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, take the Metrolink train to Simi Valley.
