The mass transit system on the island of Oahu, created by Mayor Frank Fasi years ago called "The Bus", has won national awards. $2 adult & $1 student fares, also $40/mo. passes & handicapped & elderly passes available. ALL buses equipped with wheelchair ramps & bicycle racks. The Bus runs around the whole island of Oahu from the ocean, to the mountains & valleys.
2. Any where on Oahu is a great place to live and there is great public transportation almost anywhere on the island.

5. Oahu has the most reliable public transportation system (The Bus). The outer islands have bus systems but they are few and far between and are often the hand me downs from the Oahu system. Good luck....hope that helps!
