i am starting a business on the web, how do i figure the shipping rates for ups,?

I have been on ups rates, but I don't know the right way to figure the rates for me shipping products through ups

1. UPS rates are based on five things. 1. Daily pickup and delivery or pickup only when called 2. Value added services you request 3. Package Weight 4. The zones of both you and the destination 5. Class of service Initially I think you should use the only when called rates since you probably won't be shipping every day. (When you get to that point switch). Also I think you can determine which value added services, if any, you will want to use. You are then left with only three variables for each shipment; weight and zone and what class of service your customer wants. I think the best source for the information you need is the local UPS office. Call and ask for a set of rate charts for your zip code. Hope this helps Jerry-the-bookkeeper
