extra Sound proofing a volkswagen transporter shuttle/caravelle. Can i use fibreglass roofing insulation?

I want to sound proof a volkswagen shuttle nine seater, i am thinking of using roofing insulation to stuff behind some of the doors etc, is this safe and is it a good idea, or is there something else that i could use? Appreciate any answers or help with this.

1. Yes but might cause itching/irritation and is not really dense enough
2. No don't use fibreglass roof insulation, vibrations will eventually shake it all down to the lowest level. Go to a body repair shop and ask for that thick black material they use. Good luck, Gizz.
