How do I find transportation/logistic companies that transports hazardous material?
US/ CANADA shipping companies that handle charcoal products (class 4.2 or 77.5) UN1361 without calling the whole yellow book?

- that's a pretty bad class of material that you are trying to ship. classified as a spontaneously combustible material; it is subject to some rigorous packaging/labeling standards and you might have to have decent quantity and for sure, a legitimate reason for shipping this stuff. What exactly is it that this 'charcoal product' is used for?
- Try Phoenix Air. They transport all kinds of hazardous material. www.phoenixair.com
- Depends on how fast you want it moved, and how much you have. I assume since you posted this in the Aircraft section of questions, you are interested in aircraft transportation. Unfortunately, I took the liberty of looking up UN1361 in the latest United States Certified Flight Regulations 49 Hazmat material transportation guide, and this class of material is forbidden for transport upon commercial or cargo only aircraft. See my last source link below to download the CFR 49 manual text and search for UN1361. If you would like a professional answer though, I'll recommend Cherry Air of Addison Texas which operates a fleet of smaller cargo jets capable of carrying all types of Hazmat, including 1.1 through 1.3 explosives. They will also arrange all ground transportation needs for you if necessary, to nearby airport at your origin and destination points. They can be off the ground within one hour to meet your cargo, and can help you or a handler arrange necessary international hazmat and customs documentation. Larger companies such as Evergreen International Airlines in McMinnville, Oregan operate 747 aircraft and handle the same types of material in large quantities, but require much more notice of your needs. Hope this helps!
