How do you get from Victoria Coach Station to Imperial College by bus?
What bus number? What stop do I catch the bus from? How far is it from the coach station? What bus stop do I get off at? Is that close to the uni? Whereabouts are the bus stops for the return journey (i.e. where to catch it from and where to get off)? How much does it cost? Do I have to buy my tickets beforehand from a machine? Sorry for all the questions, I've never used public transport in London before. And please don't just tell me to take the tube because it's easier, I'd like directions specifically for buses please. Thankyou!

- Bus C1 from Victoria to South Kensington. Pay before you board.
- From Victoria Coach Station walk up to Victoria bus Station which is right in from of the Victoria Mainline station (about 5-10min walk). From there catch the 52 bus and ask the driver to get you off at Kensignton/ Royal Albert Hall. From there you can walk to the imperial college. As for fare, you can purchase a single bus ticket from the machaine at Victoria Bus station which will probbably cost you £2. However if you go into the travel centre at Victoria mainline station, you can get an Oyster card for which you pay a £3 deposit. You can top this up with pre-praid credit and with this, bus fares cost about £1. Further more they are capped so as only as you touch in as you get on the bus, you never pay anymore than £4 regardless of how many bus journies you make that day.
