POLL: how do you rate public transport in the town you live?

i live in sydney and with over 6 million people its pretty pathetic i will continue to drive

1. San Francisco's is really great! We have both Muni & Bart and we will pretty soon have a High speed rail, taking us to LA quickly.
2. Eh when I need the bus then hell I'll take it,there's nothing wrong with it.Nobody really takes them so I don't mind
3. i live in pittsburgh and it's good i think but there might be a strike so . . . then i guess it would be horrible. no license so need the bus to get about everywhere
4. It's terrible. I live in Phoenix and the bus stops are at random places nobody goes to, we have hardly any taxi's, and no subway system, and yet we have1.7 million people here. I hate Arizona
5. Not so hot. Over 50,000 people and there are busses but they don't take you where you want to go conveniently. I am in atlantic Canada. Taxis are cheap however. I will also continue to drive. But would love an affordable hybrid!!!

7. I live in a small town of around 5000 people in AUS. The only public transport there is... is the occasional bus going to Adelaide and other areas, so im going to have to say it's pretty poor. Taxis are alright i guess, they don't have meters which add up your cost, however considering there aren't any traffic lights to stall the ride and rack up the cost; it's always pretty expensive, i think they overcharge.. stupid taxis. I've been to Sydney and i thought the public transport was pretty good? We didn't take a car there so we relied on it. Im rambling.
8. I live in Toowoomba, Australia and it's pretty good here considering we are a small city. I still have my car though.
