  1. ok, i have taken Latin I so i don't know if ALL of these are right, but i think it is: Nominative Accusative Nominative Nominative and Accusative Dative Nominative Dative Ablative (not totally sure) Nominative
  2. If you cannot answer these, you really need to improve your understand of the Latin case system. Most of them are easy. The ablative usage is the hardest - there are many different usages of the ablative. Nominative (the predicate nominative, using the verb esse) Nominative (same thing) Accusative (direct object of verb) Nominative and Dative (subject and indirect object) Nominative (I think - hard to tell from the sentence fragment) Genitive (the progress OF the traveler) Accusative (where you arrive to) Ablative (with reference to a point, away from there) Accusative (direct object, what you see)
  3. The romans were master builders: that is an attribute...we know that because of the copular verb WERE. System: Nominative. Roads: Accusative. Roads: Nominative. Romans: Accusative. Milestones: I don't know sorry because actually I am not English, but I have studied latin 2 years and I think it should be Nominative. Traveller's : Genitive for sure. Rome: Ablative or Dative. Which: I think it's genitive. not sure. Systems: Accusative for sure. They are in order.
