What is a tropical longitude and latitude location?

It is for a HS Project, I had to make up a country with a longitude and latitude location. The country's climate is sub tropical and I wasn't sure of a location where there was no islands, since my country is made up. Nothing has to be in that location, it just needs a be a tropical area.

1. Lay a dime on a global map of the Earth somewhere in an ocean area between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn as close to the equator as you get it and have it not touching any islands or land mass. When you find a suitable place. Put your country there.
