I Want to buy a VW transporter,can anyone reccomend a model?

For recreational and surfing use, gear and the odd sleep in.£4,000 to spend can anyone reccomend model thanks.

1. ive got a t4 i use mine for weekends away fishing my reason for going for the t4 i looked at a t5 they were just in my price range but looked slightly smaller all the ones i looked at were tdi engines and after having a tdi car i know the costs elecs and the insurance was a bit much i thaught for somthing i dont use as a every day car were as i got the t4 a nice 1900 turbo diesel its not as fast as the tdi insurance halved so did the servicing and no expensive elecs to worry about and 4grand will get you a low milage mint t4 it wont get you a mint t5 or for your money you might get a ok condition t2 or t3 and thats just class
