What would be the ideal rural location to buy my first home?

I would like for the location to be in PA. I would like it to be extremely close to Northern NJ. I want as much land as possible for a cheap price, along with low taxes, and great school systems. I perfer to live in the middle of no where and I really do not want to live in a development. Most of all, I want to feel safe in the local town, as well as my home. I do not want to worry about crimes.

1. Probably not going to get everything on your wish list. If you want "middle of nowhere," then you're not going to get "great school system." Prioritize your wishes, then you'll be able to more clearly make your decision. Good luck!
