What is the location of the San Francisco earthquake?

Im in sixth grade and have a project due tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone knew the exact location of this earthquake. Please help me if you know the answer. Thank you.

1. which earthquake 1906 0r 1989? California does not have a problem with earthquakes san francisco has not had a major quake that did any damage in 20 years. The last damaging earthquake in LA was in 1994 . that was more than 15 years ago.
2. The exact location I couldn't say, but the San Andreas fault running the coast of CA is the culprit.
3. The exact epicenter and magnitude of the 1906 quake are unknown due to the lack of accurate records, but the best modern reconstructions place the epicenter on the San Andreas fault just west of San Francisco. See link for the USGS report on the earthquake.
