San Diego, CA - how do I get from airport to W Ash Street with public transport?

I'm arriving in San Diego, CA, at Lindbergh Airport at about 6 pm on April 11 and need to get to my hotel on W Ash Street with the bus or anything. I can't find any helpful information in the net - I'm not a US citizen and thus not familiar with public transport in the US. Thanks for your help! ;)
