- Dan B, there are buses with the destination signage being Lane Cove, we went on a couple. Chris
- Which part of Lane Cove do you want to go? If you check out 131500 Transport infoline you can type in your exact destination to get a detailed answer. http://www.131500.info/realtime/newJourney.asp?PageMode=&Vehicle=Bus%2CTrain%2CFerry&Wheelchair=&WalkSpeed=NORMAL&Priority=&IsAfter=A&Time=08%3A20PM&Date=3%2F4%2F2009&FromStreet=&FromSuburb=central&FromLocType=s&ToStreet=lane+cove&ToSuburb=&ToLocType=a&ViaStreet=&ViaSuburb=&ViaLocType=&NotViaStreet=&NotViaSuburb=&NotViaLocType=&MaxChanges=%2D1
- Hillsbus (yellow colour) route 610 or 619 will take you from Central to Lane Cove (which is the first set down) They leave from a small bus stop in Pitt Street; right opposite Central Station (50 metres south of Eddy Street) DO NOT catch the 610X (express), as this bypasses lane Cove by going through the Lane Cove Tunnel. I think the 613 to 617 routes also stop at lane Cove, and leave from the same place - check with the driver. Here's a link to routes and timetables: http://www.yourbus.com.au/
- Your best bet is to catch a bus from George St, near Railway Square, which is the main bus interchange for Central, and travel to the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). Alternatively you can catch a train from Central to Town Hall or walk along George St to the QVB. The QVB bus stop on York St has all the State Government buses going to Lane Cove. These include buses that are going to Epping and Marsfield via the Freeway that stop in Lane Cove on the way, as well as buses that go around Lane Cove. Check 131500.info for timetables, routes and the bus stand numbers.
